Second in series of ‘5000’
Digital Mixed Media combining an image captured from a family passed down antique silk embroidery, presented as thousands (?) of identical pink ‘stamps’ in an off-center 2D kaleidoscope of sorts. Then a thick colorful impasto paint with many layers creates a haphazard maze of partial geometric structures which the stamps go up and over. The shock of color may draw one closer to see the real details.
