Knit doll sans arms 2 - deep blue.
This involves a doll my mother was making for Christmas, but was never completed. There is a strong mix of happiness and deep feelings of sadness in this work. We all have these feelings attached to certain tangible objects, but find it difficult to express how complex the feelings are that we associate with them. The knitting and various colors along with the unfinished aspect was something I felt might bring the feelings together.
